Dune Dawn

Just before sunrise as viewed from the dunes of Inverness Beach looking away from the Gulf of St. Lawrence, Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia Canada. I was lucky to have some great clouds and hear the sound wind rusling through the dune grasses on this chilly October morning in 2008. Usually this time of year, the wind howls over the beach and through the dunes blowing sand in all directions.
