Flowing Water, Waterfalls

John & I went into the Plotter Kill Preserve yesterday morning at about 4:30. The first thing that struck was how low the water level is and how dry the forrest is. I was standing on a shale ledge (usually under water) trying to make something of the trickle falling over the rock when the first ray of sun came up the stream and landed right where I was facing. This lasted less than a minute and was gone. A great lesson relearned about taking pictures in the world of nature.
