Hunting Hiena
by Cesar Fernandez
Land Mammals
A spotted hiena scan the serengeti plains looking for newborn Thomies. I took this image in late afternoon using paning technique. The strong side light gave this image its strong bright colors. One can also see salivation on the side of the mouth of the hiena as if she is expecting a suculent dinner.
