This picture Digitally viewed comes nowhere close to what I wanted out of the shot. The print, however, (12x18 on metalic gloss) has just the emotion I felt as I viewed the scene.
What struck me most as I passed this mini-swamp was the strong horizontal lines of the backround trees and their reflections playing into the even stonger diagonal lines of the fallen trees in the FG. I don't know if anyone else will feel strongly about this one but it works for me.
