Rio de Janeiro's statue of Christ the Redeemer.

Rio is a fascinating, if somewhat dangerous, city, best known for Sugarloaf mountain, visible in the bay, and the huge statue of Christ the Redeemer perched on top of Corcovados. The picture was taken from a helicopter, which we found sitting - waiting for customers - on that ridge jutting out towards the bay, beyond the statue.
