Kurumgad Island is a secluded retreat with untouched natural splendour, a remote haven located in the Arabian Sea off the coast of Karwar, Karnataka, India. It takes about 45 minutes by boat ferry to get to this island hideaway.

This island along with a couple of others in the vicinity serve as a natural barrier protection for the Indian Navy's upcoming Project Seabird naval base. Once under Portuguese rule, it is alleged that during the 1961 War of Liberation of Goa, this island along with the nearby Devbagh island were the last bases used by the Portuguese to make their escape back to Portugal for once and for all.
