Saw-whet Owl

This saw-whet owl was photographed at the Visitor Interpretive Center in Newcomb NY in the Adirondacks mountains at a Bird education day. It was taken with a Canon 20D and a Canon 100-400mm IS lens, AV mode, 1/250 sec, f6.3, +2/3 exposure compensation, Canon 580 EX flash and a Gary Fong Lightsphere. This little owl was being held by the person at the information desk, under a low celing. I bounced the flash off the ceiling and love the expression & eyes of the owl!
