Hummingbird Pete's Yard ADK

This photograph was taken, on a tripod, at a friend's garden. It was taken with a Canon 20D and a 300mm f2.8 Canon lens and a 1.4X teleconverter. Manual 1/2000 sec, f5, flash (Canon 580EX, high speed sync with a better beamer). I love the way he is caught mid air on his way to the BeeBalm! This photograph won First Place in the Adirondack Life photo contest (2006)!!
