'Big Girl' Golden Eagle was born in a nest across from my house. She is a year old in this photo. As a fledgling, she was critically ill with West Nile Virus and was taken to Birds of Prey in Broomfield where she was rehabilitated. This picture was taken 6 months later on the day of her release minutes before she flew of.
