The Privateer "Lynx" sails on Puget Sound past Point Robinson Lighthouse on Maury Island, Washington, USA, as part of the Tall Ships Festival. Mount Rainier is in the background. The light house was built in 1885, though the light was not installed until 1887, and marks the halfway point between Seattle and Tacoma. The Lynx was built to the specfications of the 1812 Privateer Lynx built by Thomas Kemp, modified to current regulations, and launched in 2001.
