Sunlight reflected over marina

The grand union canal once the major transport route before trains is still maintained for leasure purposes near London. I have quite often walked the canal and taken pictures there. This shot was taken from the canal across an adjacent water way next to a marina. It seems to break the 'rules' of photography by taking the shot into the sun and gives the sunlight an unsual impressionistic effect which was unexpected.
