Mars nut

I did some experimentation using autotubes rather than a macro lense either with a flash or daylight. Autotubes are combined with a 'normal' lense and usually give a very shallow depth of focus say about 0.5-1cm so they are more than adequate for closeups. The uneaten post christmas walnut provided a study in natural form, textures and shadows which I thought was quite appealing.
