From Russia with friendship

Groton, CT (May 11, 2004) – Sergei Khrushchev, a teacher at the Watson Institute for International Studies at Brown University, looks through one of the periscopes aboard USS Alexandria (SSN 757) during the Naval War College’s Cold War at Sea Symposium visit to Naval Submarine Base New London May 11. Khrushchev, the son of Nikita Khrushchev, Premier of the Soviet Union between 1958 and 1964, accompanied several active duty and retired Russian Flag Officers, faculty members from Brown University and the Naval War College and members of the USS Saratoga Foundation during the tour of the Submarine Force Library and Museum, Alexandria and Submarine School.
