This photograph is a testament to having my equipment ready at all times. I was at Lake Okachobee, FL getting ready to go fishing when I was informed there was a bald eagle flying toward us. I grabbed my camera as the eagle flew directly at me before diving into the canal for a fish only 25 yards away. I always thought I would have to go to Alaska for a great picture of a bald eagle but instead it fell into my lap while in Florida.
