Clouds reflect off a thin layer of ice on Meddybemps Lake about 15 minutes before sunrise in Downeast Maine. The lake had been freezing over, then breaking up for a couple of weeks. This time, after a night of single digit temps, it stayed frozen. 3 img pan. Canon 5DII, EF17-40 @ 17mm, 1/10sec f8, ISO 100.
