We were in this spot in the morning after shooting in badwater for sunrise. I decided to come back to Devil's Golf Course for sunset. There were a few other photographers, but they all left after the sun set behind the mountains. We hung around in anticipation of some color on the horizon. Patience paid off and we were rewarded with color from three sides; north, south (this one) and west.
