Anole Angles

I took this fella on the side of my stucco house between a column and the eve.
all I did was darken and smooth the shadows. I started with just de-noising them, but that didn't give me the look I wanted (more stark).
I rotated the photo,so the wall so the lizard would be vertical, and liked the angles of the black bg after rotation. I decided that the BG of black added to the angular composition and gave the photo "an anchor", so much so..that I included it...which put this in photo art. I also tried this in black and white, but the lizard did not show up as I wanted it. And, I really don't like bW photos with colorization.
