the tunnel's warm pool

Walking up and down a stream I was photographing, I stumbled upon this stone tunnel built into a hill. I thought,"What an intriguing thing to put into a photograph. The challenge I set for myself was to incorporate it into the photo while still emphasizing the motion of the water in a way that gave the image depth. Then I waited until the sun was shining down at it through the trees to give the shadow some highlights. The warm color in the pool of water pleasant surprise that made the picture all that much better.
