Born and raised in the suburbs of Minneapolis, it was a chance family vacation to the Oregon coast in the early nineties that propelled me westward.
I've always been fascinated by photography and the msytique of the darkroom, rich with the scent of chemicals. It was the advancement of digital technology that brought my love of photography back to the forefront.
I have been shooting digital since 2003, seriously since early 2007.
I love to explore the wild and beautiful areas of the western US and take pictures because I want to share my vision. I am constantly learning and love to experiment with new techniques and equipment to create works of art.
