I am a landscape photographer based in Corvallis Oregon. I generally spend much of my year traveling and shooting various projects around the Western US. and Northwest specifically. My style is one of big, bold, dramatic and dynamic images utilizing wide angles and amazing light. I will stop at nothing to capture an image that defines a place at it's most magical moment. I want you to find the inescapable natural beauty I have found in my travels, and understand the value these wilderness lands have to all of us in their preservation. Backpacking is my prefered method of travel, and I usually travel alone, as there is no better way to absorb the essence of a wild place. I must mention the great gift that the late Galen Rowell gave us with his photography, his adventureous vision, his philosophies and his teachings. His influences are felt in my own life every day. His combination of mind, body and spirt will likely never grace our lives again. Never forget any of those that came before you. Never be afraid to explore, to wander, to find a new direction.
