I’ve loved nature all my life and was fortunate to be able to spend many years of my childhood on a secluded area of long Island, and spending summers in the northwestern mountains of New Jersey with my grandmother and southern Canada with my other grandfather. I am currently living in Lexington, KY, Horse capital of the world! It is also the home of the Keeneland racetrack, which is a beautiful structure itself. The Kentucky Horse park is a must see for any horse enthusiast.
While I have some horse pictures my true love is nature of all sorts, from landscapes to insects. I hope to be able spend more time getting wildlife pictures in the future.
I began exploring photography while attending college in Connecticut and managed to get a few pretty good pictures. Upon graduating, I moved to San Diego without my darkroom and lost track of photography for almost 25 years. Throughout this time I always listed it as one of my hobbies. My career for the last 25 years has been in Information Technology.
About 4 years ago, after raising a family, I started taking pictures again and after restocking my darkroom and printing a few pictures went digital! I had planned to get really serious after I retired & was honing my skills in the meantime. About a year ago, after much encouragement, I decided to get serious and began to really learn and develop my skills. What you see in my photography is largely the result of this decision.
I truly hope you have enjoyed my photography and I encourage you to provide any feedback. I would enjoy critiques as well as compliments. Thank you for visiting.
