The Colorado Plateau and its fascinating erosion patterns are the main subjects in my photographs. The glow of sandstone, the unusual patterns and shapes of sedimentary rock, and unique designs within the landscape are my favorite themes. While some of my older images were made with 4x5, I returned to the 35-mm camera and color transparencies many years ago and am very satisfied with this choice. I do a significant amount of post-exposure processing using Photoshop to bring out the very best light in each image. Drum scans and an excellent knowledge of digital enhancement techniques allows me to produce enlargements that are incredibly sharp and detailed. While I mostly make fine art prints for my customers, I also supply high quality digital image files for other applications. I have recently put up my new website, http://www.goodlight.us, which features my best images. It will be updated regularly as new work becomes available.
