After gaining a Diploma in Photography (UMIST) and a Diploma in History (London University) in the Dark Ages (well, 1960s) I worked for many years in University and Local Government Photographic Departments. A love of travel and of the Czech Republic in particular led to a growing collection of travel photographs, originally marketed through various libraries, but now consolidated into STOCKCZECH, an on-line specialist source of photographs of the Czech Republic for editorial use in books, magazines and newspapers.
I specialize in technically correct, accurately captioned images suited to their purpose - i.e. illustrating the various facets of life in the Czech Republic.
I have used Olympus cameras since the OM1 was introduced (originally as the M1 until another manufacturer objected that they already had a model with that designation!) and now use Olympus digital cameras which have maintained that company's reputation for compactness along with quality.
