Photographic artist Stephen Downey has been photographing nature, wildlife and travel scenes for over a decade. Currently residing in scenic Bucks County, Pennsylvania, his range of images spans from the shores of the United States and throughout Europe. The collection of images show a unique eye for color, personality, and perspective.
Steve was born in Birmingham, England, and raised in the United States. Trained as an Electrical Engineer, with a focus on Biomedical Engineering, and holding a Masters in Technology Management, Steve began photographing landscape, wildlife, and travel images as he traveled with his full-time medical marketing position. His travels brought him in touch with beautiful locations throughout the world, including Arizona, Colorado, Venice, and his native country of the UK. Introduced to photography through a high school course, he never traveled without his camera, and found that photography brought the magic of nature and the world both to him and others. Refining his technique over the years, he continues to delve into new areas, new perspectives, and sharing his findings with customers the world over.
