DK has been picking up cameras most of her life. It wasn't until about five years ago that she discovered how much she could do with them. Her love for nature and wildlife led her to pick up a camera to capture those images that captured her heart. DK has been known to shoot up to 3,000 photos in a single day at nearby wildlife refuges. She resides in Maryland with the love of her life. She divides her time between said love, photography, and writing poetry.
