The goal of my photography is to capture the beauty of the natural world and share this beauty with others. I capture images from any natural location, with emphasis on the lakeshore region of Lake Erie. This area is rich in scenic splendor yet not often covered or seen by those outside the region. I want to share the variety of natural scenes from the area with others so as to help expand awareness and appreciation of this scenic lakeshore area.
I have been a serious amateur photographer for the past 15 years. Through careful composition and creative use of light, I work to portray not only what I have seen, but what I have felt while in the natural environment. I strive to transport others, if only briefly, to the locations I have visited so they may experience the vision and spirit of the moment. I hope that through my photography they may find peace and tranquility, and shed for a moment the stress and rigors of our modern lifestyles.
