I teach several courses in biology at Stetson University in DeLand, Florida. I'm interested in nearly all aspects of nature and natural history, though my primary fields of interest include terrestrial ecology and the natural history of birds, reptiles, amphibians, and insects. I have been photographing wildlife in Florida off and on since the '80's. Before that I lived and photographed for several years in northern Virginia, though remarkably few of the photographs I have from that period have survived the periodic purges. I have a wide range of images including habitats of eastern North America, birds, reptiles, amphibians, mammals, insects, and flora and wildflowers. My most comprehensive coverage is of Florida wildlife.
