Avid outdoorsman who has spent considerable time exploring New England-canoeing, camping, backpacking and fishing. I began shooting nature photography in the 70's with 35mm and stopped for a number of years. I returned to photography about five years ago with the use of a digital Nikon Coolpix 5700 and in the past years have purchased a Nikon D200 with numerous lens. I have been fortunate to have had a private showing in The Stevens Gallery of The University Of Connecticut of 68 of my photographs. I have a degree in Biological Science which combined with my outdoors background gives me an excellent base from which to work with on selecting subject matter and locations.
