I've been an amateur photographer since 1965 when a friend gave me a beat-up Canonflex. I soon discovered a love for nature and travel photography, and have had my cameras at my side ever since. I've been lucky to have done some traveling both in the US and abroad. For the past thirty years, I have lived in Tucson,Arizona going to school and working as a Radiology Technologist. I still shoot film on occasion but made the transition to digital photography several years ago. I have been a lifelong advocate for Nikon equipment and currently do most of my work with a D200. My wife,Kelly, herself a gifted photographer provides criticism and direction for my work. I have a particular fondness for the deserts of the Southwest, and Tucson is a great home base to study and enjoy the Sonoran Desert.
