Troup Nightingale is a freelance photographer in Southeastern Georgia. Many of his works reflect life around the Golden Isles of Brunswick, St. Simons Island, Jekyll Island, Little Cumberland Island, and Cumberland Island - though he does stretch into other states including the Bahamas. He holds an A.S.M.P. membership.
His photography encompasses Nature, Wildlife, Journalism, Historical, Maritime, and The Fine Arts. Here you will find images of sea birds, landscapes, sunsets and sunrises, vessels in distress from the forces of nature, weather, and images crafted into an artistic fashion.
You may notice that some of the photographs are not of the sharpest quality. Some "unsharp" images were taken from various moving boats during the course of the photographer's activities as a Maritime Captain rescuing mariners in distress. Some of these were taken in glorious light; some not. Troup enjoys capturing these kinds of images anyway in order to bring to light moments in time that most people will never get a chance to see otherwise.
Troup is constantly expanding the breadth of his photographic work. Sometimes this is through the use of new equipment and sometimes by his looking at the world in a different way.
