Jo and I have known each other since the 5th grade so we have always done everything together and the journey to learn the art of photography has been no different. While I often deal with the technical aspects of our photography (carrying equipment) Jo really brings the artistic view to the equation.
In the fall of 2006, we decided to take our first ?adult? vacation. During the same time period several friends had bought digital cameras and seemed to be enjoying them. So in an attempt to reduce Jo?s frustration with her film camera I bought her a digital camera. It was during this vacation that we decided to make a serious effort to learn to be better photographers.
We had no idea at the time how this decision would change our lives but looking back it has been a wonderful journey and one we would recommend everyone take.
