Murray Feist is a part time nature and wildlife photographer located out of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Murray's work and personal life has ultimately resulted in his passion for the photography of nature and wildlife. Beginning in 1994, Murray has worked with the University of Saskatchewan and the Government of Saskatchewan studying the nutrition and biology of deer, elk and bison in western Canada. As a result, he gained unique views of these animals in the wild, on game farms and in zoos, and the opportunity to take pictures of the animals. As well, Murray is an active hunter and sportsman, spotting and hunting these animals. During his travels, the photography of mule deer, white-tailed deer, elk, bison, birds and landscapes of western Canada is an extension of the sights and sounds he has seen in the field.
