Hello! My name is Melenie Ottosen and I live in Phoenix, Arizona. I have been taking photographs for many years; what started in college as a hobby became a full-fledged passion in the Fall of 2005. I shoot with a Nikon D50 dSLR and a Nikon N80 35mm SLR, using a variety of lenses ranging from 18mm to 300mm. My 35mm shots are taken using Fuji Velvia 100.

Images of Nature galleries, which feature the work of world-renowned nature photographer Thomas Mangelsen. Tom's work inspires me daily to learn and grow as a photographer.
It is my hope that those who view my photos will feel uplifted, and inspired to work harder to preserve the world we live in. I hope you enjoy viewing my images as much as I have enjoyed taking them.
