I have two passions in life - one of which is photography. The other is the weather, and I have made that my career, as I am currently a meteorologist with the National Weather Service. One can see this reflected in my photgoraphy, as the sky plays a major role in many of my images.
I tend to look for the subtle and intimate scenes that the landscape and nature provides. Much of my photography has come from the "endless mountain" region of New York and Pennsylvania, simply because this is where I lived for the last 4 years. However, I have recently moved to the coast of Maine. Currently, I work mainly in digital and 35mm slides, though I am beginning to experiment in large format.
