I went digital in 2003 with a Fuji 3 megapixel camera.
I've been using a Canon 1D Mark III since its release in 2007. I shoot primarily wildlife, so the camera has served me very well. Especially helpful at the 10 fps for action captures..
I live on 6 acres of Central Texas Hill Country in its natural state. We have made the property wildlife friendly with the addition of a pond, and feeding stations for the birds & native animals.
Since we live on a major migratory path, I'm always on the lookout for new species of birds as well.
We have four dogs as pets, and they're a big part of our daily lives since we work from home.
I'm a grandfather with two grandsons, one born just this year.
I have two images currently published in Nature's Best Photography Magazines Summer edition, and I'm the cover of the Nature Conservancy's 2010 calendar. Published in National Wildlife Magazine and ancillary printings, Nature's Best, Better Homes & Gardens, and others..
