Thank you for visiting my photography gallery. I have been capturing landscape images since 1981, concentrating on California, Colorado, Michigan and Arizona.
I was born and raised in Michigan and earned an engineering degree from Michigan State. After graduation, I immediately headed west to sunny California (Bay Area) and lived there for over 18 years. In 1999, I moved to Colorado and I am still exploring this large state.
While I have taken many courses in photography, I have learned a great deal through experience and experimentation. When I return to a location that I have previously photographed, I am always amazed because I usually find interesting compositions that I didn't notice during my first visit. So I always say - my best photo is the next one I take.
