I am a full time elementary school teacher and part time photographer. Growing up on a farm on the Ohio river in Northern Kentucky, I have always loved being outside observing the natural world. I travel to the Smokies as often as I can and take our entire 5th grade class there for a three day camp every year. Many of my photos were shot in Great Smoky Mountains NP, but you don't have to travel to a national park to find good shots. A lot of my best flower photos are from my own back yard.
