I've had a camera in hand since high school days, when a friend and I worked on the yearbook and set up a darkroom in the basement. Recently I've had the opportunity to take up photography again, and I'm enjoying 'developing' skills for the digital era (pun intended).
I love photographing creatures great and small, land close and far, and the great sky around me. Fortunately, the Big Sky Country is my home, and there is yet lots of flora and fauna under that Big Sky. I enjoy portraying it, and hope that my efforts will inspire a greater appreciation and respect for the marvels that surround us.
Currently, my work falls into three main categories: Beaverhead Birds (there is a huge variety of birds in Beaverhead County, Montana), The Big Sky Country, and my own perpetual Flower Festival.
Also being a writer at heart, I particularly enjoy 'describing'--in photo images and word pictures both.
Please feel free to join the journey by reviewing, critiquing, requesting, suggesting or otherwise interacting with my portfolio.
Enjoy!
