Wild places and the creatures inhabiting them, have always been a vital part of my liveliness.
Like many aspiring professional nature photographers I have a secure full time job, but for more than 20 years my full time passion has been nature photography. Regular forays to wild places provide me with a healing balance to my daily life. The challange of creating unique images of wildness through photography has become my very personal way of experiencing the wonders of nature. I am especially grateful to be able to share my favorite photographs with folks who love, respect and depend on nature to enhance their lives as I do.
North American wildlife and unique landscapes primarily of the western United States and Canada is the mainstay of my photographic files. Behavioral wildlife studies including aesthetic environmental portraits, close-up portraits and action are my specialty. My wildlife/nature files are 150,000 quality images strong and continuously growing.
