Welcome to Kara Rich-Bowen's Photo Portfolio. I am a 29 year old Michigander that has been transplanted to the beautiful piedmont area in North Carolina. Some of my interests include hiking, travel, camping, and photography. I love taking photographs of nature and I pride myself in finding that picture prefect shot. I have been taking photographs for years now but it has not been till the last few years that I have wanted learn and share my photography. Most of my photographs were taken on hikes or during outdoor activities that I enjoy and want to keep doing as much as possible. As I do these activities, I want to push myself to see more and I try to go places that I have not been too previously. I love to share my experiences through photography with others that may not be able to see some of the beauty that nature has to offer. I believe that nature photography is a peaceful and rewarding part in my life and I should hope that others enjoy looking at my photography as much as I do.
