As a child i often looked at my father's Minolta camera, he hardly used it and at one point he claimed it was broken.I asked if i could have it and took it to a camerashop were it turned out the batteries had leaked. After scraping off the debriss and replacing the batteries i was the proud owner of a Minolta XG and a couple of lenses.Being completely clueless on how to use it i just started taking photo's and learned on the way. That is when the love affair started. Today i am the happy owner of a Sony A550 as the love for Minolta never ceased to be.I am a passionate nature lover and try to capture some of the beauty that is out there. I find that through the lens you sometimes discover details that you normally miss. It's a whole new way of looking. Apart from photography i am a painter, i see the two as going hand in hand together it is just a different medium. I love colors and can be enchanted by a certain light, shape or color. I am trying to improve my technique and am in the proces of discovering all my camera has to offer.
It's a wonderful journey!
