ared Ropelato is a high school teacher and photographer of the Pacific North West. Jared looks to capture and share images that evoke feelings of grandeur and a sense of “being there”. His work attempts to find the greatness of nature in all things great and small and to promote its lasting conservation.
Born in Boise, Idaho, Jared has traveled the Pacific North West to gather his collection of photographs. From the “Big Sky State” of Montana to the Coast lines of Northern Oregon, the enormous monoliths of Yosemite to the seemingly bottomless canyons of Yellowstone, the urban beauty of San Francisco Bay to his own back yard, Jared brings the beauty of nature to life in his prints. Experiencing his vivid landscape photography gives a sense of being immersed in the moment with the photographer.
In this collection, Jared shares with us his celebration of the sometimes overwhelming beauty of the landscapes that surround us, locally, regionally, and nationally. Please enjoy.
