As an amateur photographer I try to record the diversity in nature that is found within the local woodlands of my New Hampshire home. Here in northern New England, with each seasonal change, the landscape, wildlife, and flora take on their own unique evolution, affording many photographic opportunities to be found within a small geographic area of focus.
For over thirty years I've hiked, hunted, and fished the surrounding wooded hillsides, and this love for the outdoors has become a true passion for me, as virtually not a week will go by without having spent time wandering there.
Nature Photography is a relatively new pursuit for me and is now my chosen means of the hunt, while the approach that is taken is that of the as found - as seen, philosophy in capturing the image.
Using the 35mm format in film and digital media, the volume of my image base is always expanding, as the opportunities for photography lay just beyond the back door.
