My work includes wildflowers, birds, reptiles, mammals, waterfalls and landscapes taken in Florida, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Virginia. My wife, Kathy, and I have four daughters and seven grandchildren and have been married since 1964. We were both born in Michigan, but raised our family in Pennsylvania, having been hired by Westinghouse in Pittsburgh in 1967.
I retired from an engineering and management career in May 2000. My lifelong love of nature and photography led me to pursue nature photography avidly since then. I have studied photography in correspondence courses and photography workshops in addition to my own self-study and many years of photography as a hobby. Some of my photos have been published, The War Cry (national publication of the Salvation Army), the Camping Life magazine photo gallery, the Michigan Touring periodical, and I wrote an article for the Nature Photographer's Network online magazine. I am a member of the Nature Photographer’s Network and the North American Nature Photography Association.
