Hi! I'm a 15yr old nature fanatic living in SW Alberta, Canada, near Waterton Lakes National Park. I've been photographing for four years, and got my first DSLR for my birthday two years ago in August, and have been hooked ever since.
My dad used to do commercial and fine-art nature photography, and has been teaching me and my younger sister. In the winter of 2010 we each won seperate categories in the Canadian Wildlife Federation's "Focus on Nature" Photo Contest! I was also very excited to be named runner-up in the Canadian Geographic "Wildlife Photography of the Year Photo Contest - Youth Division."
My images have appeared in Canadian Geographic, Wild magazine (CWF), Canadian Wildlife magazine (CWF), Biosphere (CWF), Wildlife magazine (NWF), The Banff Crag & Canyon, and my hometown's newspaper, The Pincher Creek Echo.
I was also featured in Outdoor Photography Canada magazine as one of Canada's "best kept secrets". I also have an image in Nature Photographers magazine with an image that won the youth category in their first ever Birds as Art contest.
