I believe one of my life callings is the art of photography. I'm a devout Christian and the astounding beauty of God’s creation never ceases to amaze me. I take pictures so that the momentary shimmer of a bubble or the ever-changing clouds in the skies can be preserved and enjoyed by others. The world is a busy place and it seems to me that some people are so caught up in their work, their friends, their technology, that they fail to take notice of the splendor that God continually surrounds them with in nature. God may have put me here to help those people catch a glimpse beyond their own little world, into a bigger one where God rules supreme and His glory is unendingly reflected in creation.
I live and go to college in Southern California. I've been a shutterbug since 2006, starting out with a role as a yearbook photographer for my high school at the time, Heritage Christian. As far as photography goes I'm completely self-taught, but I don't let that hinder me, and I enjoy learning as I go. I sell my prints as well as handmade greeting cards wherever I find opportunity, such as at the bookshop where I work. I specialize in macro and flora photography, although I would do landscapes if I could afford to go somewhere to take such pictures. :)
Part of the proceeds from my photo sales go towards the ministries of College Avenue Baptist Church and Mission Valley Christian Fellowship.
