I began taking pictures at sixteen. As many young persons I was interested in people life. For years I captured images of people in the streets traveling and photographing in foreign countries every when possible. I used to shoot in B&W, on film of course. After the university degree the work burnt all my time and energy. The unforgettable and always beloved Leica remained shut up in a drawer covered with durst. Two years ago arrived the moment I was waiting for when we stop working for living and begin working for fun, with the same commitment, energy and enthusiasm. But I had to change everything. For preventing the public to kill the private new privacy laws block the shutter releases of the street photographers. The fear of monsters make people outdoors suspicious and aggressive. The love for nature and its beauties made the rest. So I decided to photograph the nature, specially flowers for a passion that is handed on in my family since four generations. The choice of colors and digital was inescapable. At the present my work-tools are: Nikon D2X, Nikkor F105 and F200 mm. micro, Gitzo tripod, cable release, polarizer filter. I capture in RAW and edit with Capture NX and Photoshop CS3.
