During the past 15 years I have traveled the world working primarily as a consulting engineer, typically living in one place from 12-24 months at a time. My first posting in Egypt in 1993 ignited the creative spark to become serious about photography although it remained nothing more than a serious hobby until 1997 when I purchased my first professional film camera and a copy of Photoshop. In 2003 I made the move to digital and began building an inventory of travel, wildlife and landscape images from my previous slides and continuing travels. I travel frequently during the year in the area that I'm based (Southeast Asia at the moment) and make annual visits to Africa, most recently to Namibia and Botswana. My photography focuses on wildlife, landscapes and of course travel.
