Photography is a passion for me that began roughly 15 years ago when I scrimped and saved and bought my first SLR. This was to record a growing collection of insects and butterflies rather than for the photography itself. The instant I put the viewfinder to my eye I was hooked.
Having recently finished a Masters dissertation in anthropology at Rhodes University in South Africa, I now work as a resettlement consultant on projects across Southern Africa.
My primary interests are of course anything to do with nature photography. I submit images to a few stock agencies of which Getty (via Gallo Images in South Africa) is one. I have been fortunate enough to also have been published a few times in local magazines. I have been the chairperson of a university photographic society for two years running, and have continued to lecture on various aspects of photography to the same society for several more years.
I hope you enjoy the images.
