I have taken photos as a hobby for 30yrs now. It's strictly something I do for my inner-self, my spirit. It's also not something I do everyday or real consistently. There are periods of time that I simply don't get to do much of it.
My objective with the bird photos is to capture the spirit and nature of the bird and that moment. So; I almost always have some of the natural surroundings in an image. I realize these images are not the same as those you would use for bird identification.
